DSLV Hosts Rotary Young Chef Competition
On Wednesday 21st February DSLV hosted the Rotary Club young chef competition.
The challenge was to prepare a two-course meal with a budget of £10, and was open to students from both of the Daventry Region E-ACT schools.
It was won by DSLV student Alex Burt who cooked a delicious chicken and leak pie with banoffee pie desert. Second place went to Milly Baker in year 7, also a DSLV student, who prepared turkey burgers followed by cream topped cupcakes. Third place was won by Parker student Kieran Tite for his fantastic barbecue chicken tray bake.
A huge well done to all of the students from both schools who participated.
